Greeters are enthusiastic volunteers who enjoy showing their city and meeting new people. You get to know Maastricht, and your greeter is just as happy to hear stories about your own town or region. Because a personal cultural exchange is the point, the walks are meant for individuals, couples or small groups. In a large group a real conversation is no longer possible.
Because a greeter enjoys it as much as you do, the walks are completely free. Do not expect a professional guide with every date to hand, but a passionate Maastrichtenaar who loves to talk about the city. We adapt the route, the length of the walk and any breaks entirely to what you want.
So do not think of this free walk as a standard tour, but as a pleasant walk with friends.
